Chester High School serves students in grades 9-12.

Chester High School is a comprehensive and vocational technical high school. This year, Chester High School features a proven and experienced new leadership team with a focus on:
  • School safety
  • High expectations and maintaining C-Pride n Honors Academy for high performing
  • students
  • 9th Grade Academy to prepare new students for the high school experience
  • Career Technical Education
  • State-renowned sports programs
In addition to the basic core curricular programs, student preparation includes academic seminars and tutoring (during/after the school day), and computer assisted programs, including Achieve 3000 [reading] and First in Math & Apangea [Mathematics]). Extracurricular programs include Instrumental Music/band and General Music, football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, track and club activities.

Ninth Grade Success Academy
  • Small nurturing environment dedicated to only first year ninth grade students
  • Includes freshmen students having their own wing and dedicated teachers
  • Uniforms will be navy and khaki with CHS logo
Crossroads Honors Academy
  • Students in grades 10-12
  • Electives will be in academic courses; literature, pre-calculus, physics and languages – Spanish and French levels 2 and 3
  • Rigorous course work – potential to be identified for AP classes
  • Students will have their own wing and dedicated teachers
  • Uniforms will be black or white polo shirts with CHS logo
Springboard Vocational and CTE Academy
  • Students in grades 10-12
  • Extended time in Vocational Programs, ie., Culinary Arts, Dental, Cosmetology, Marketing, Child Care, Automotive
  • Uniforms will be black or white polo shirts with CHS logo
12th Grade Academy
  • 12th grade students only
  • Time devoted to post high school planning
  • Resume writing, Senior Projects, College applications
  • Uniforms will be black or white polo shirts with CHS logo
Camelot (Credit Recovery and Alternative Educational): Multiple Pathways to Graduation
  • Repeating students in grades 9-12
  • Opportunities for students who are in need of additional course to graduate or be promoted to their correct grade
  • Positive learning environment for students with discipline needs Uniforms will be black or white polo shirts with CHS logo
Clipper Academy
  • Opportunities for students in grades 9-12 who need intensive academic and behavioral supports

Uniform Policy
Shirts: Will be provided on the first day of school.
   Solid color sweaters or sweatshirts (navy, white or black).
   No hoodies are permitted to be worn during the day.
Pants/Skirts: Navy blue or tan khaki pants.
   No jeans or leggings are permitted.
   Belts are required for pants (pants should not sag or reveal undergarments).
   For girls, khaki, navy blue or black skirts or skorts are permitted (no denim skirts or skorts). Length should not be more than 1 inch above the knee
Shoes: Sneakers or dress shoes / dressy flats.
   No: flip-flops, sandals, high-heel shoes, slides, shoes with wheels or lights.
